Roger A Rivera Jr
Roger A. Rivera Jr., MD is a board-certified pediatrician born in Managua, Nicaragua, who immigrated to the USA as a child. He spent his early childhood in Miami, FL, after which his family relocated to Clifton, NJ where he completed his early education. He then attended Rutgers College – Rutgers University where he graduated from the general honors program with a major in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. He pursued his passion for medicine at UMDNJ – NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, where as a Humanism Scholar he was granted a scholarship from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ. He stayed at NJMS to complete his residency training in Pediatrics. His accolades there include being chosen as Intern of the year in 2009, Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award recipient in 2009, and Senior Resident of the Year in 2011. Additionally, he was selected to stay at NJMS to serve a year as Pediatric Chief Resident. Once finished with his training, he opened Building Blocks Pediatric Group in Harrison, NJ with Dr. Yilda Alvarado. Dr. Rivera, his wife, son, and extended family reside in Clifton, NJ.
Yilda L Alvarado Rosario
Yilda L. Alvarado Rosario, MD is a pediatrician born and raised in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico Recinto de Río Piedras where she graduated with a major in Natural Science with honors. Afterwards she attended Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, PR, to pursue her dreams in medicine. She then completed her residency training in Pediatrics at UMDNJ – NJMS in Newark, NJ, there she received the Excellence in Continuity Care Award. Dr. Alvarado later went into private practice before deciding to open her own practice, Building Blocks Pediatric Group, with Dr. Rivera. Dr. Alvarado now resides in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Seetha Maneyapanda Rivera
Seetha Maneyapanda Rivera, MD is a board-certified pediatrician born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Clifton, NJ where she completed her early education. She then attended Princeton University where she majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She graduated with accolades that include induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then pursued her passion for medicine and service at UMDNJ – NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, where as a Humanism Scholar she was granted a scholarship from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ. She stayed at NJMS to complete her residency training in Pediatrics. Once finished with her training, she joined Building Blocks Pediatric Group in Harrison, NJ. Her husband, Dr. Roger A. Rivera Jr., son, and extended family reside in Clifton, NJ.
